Shipping & Returns Policy

Shipping Information

SmōkHaus ships orders within the United States only. International shipping is not offered at this time.

Shipping Restrictions

Due to state regulations and carrier limitations, SmōkHaus does not ship to the following states or territories:

  • Alaska
  • Hawaii
  • Utah
  • South Dakota
  • Puerto Rico

Customers attempting to ship to these locations will be unable to complete checkout.

All orders equal to or greater than $99.00 qualify for free economy shipping. Economy shipping is fulfilled through carriers such as USPS or UPS based on destination and carrier availability.

Adult signature is required upon delivery for all shipments. This requirement exists to support age verification and secure delivery of tobacco products.

Once a carrier confirms delivery, responsibility for the package transfers to the customer. SmōkHaus may review delivery issues on a case by case basis. Customers are responsible for ensuring someone is available to receive and sign for the package.

SmōkHaus is not responsible for shipping delays caused by weather conditions, holidays, carrier service disruptions, or other circumstances outside of our control.

All orders are final once submitted. Orders cannot be canceled after purchase.

Cigar Storage and Condition Disclaimer

All cigars sold by SmōkHaus are stored in a controlled environment that maintains proper temperature and humidity standards. Orders ship with a humidity pack to support cigar condition during transit.

Cigars are natural products and may respond to environmental conditions. SmōkHaus is not responsible for changes in condition caused by exposure to extreme heat or cold after delivery. Customers are responsible for promptly retrieving packages and avoiding prolonged exposure to unsuitable temperatures.

Manufacturer Defects

Returns related to manufacturer defects are limited to objective and verifiable issues such as torn wrappers, severe cracking, or confirmed mold. Issues related to draw performance, burn behavior, or personal taste preference are not considered manufacturer defects and are not eligible for return.

All defect claims are reviewed by SmōkHaus prior to approval.

Returns and Refunds

Partial returns are not accepted. Approved returns must include all items from the original shipment.

Return requests must be initiated within forty eight hours of confirmed delivery. To initiate a return, customers must contact SmōkHaus using the contact link provided on our website. A return shipping label will be provided for approved returns.

Photo documentation is required for incorrect items, damaged items, or defect claims. Photos must be submitted within forty eight hours of delivery.

Approved returns must be shipped back unused, unopened, and in the same condition in which they were received. Items returned in a different condition will not be refunded.

SmōkHaus covers return shipping costs for all approved returns.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method only after the returned items are received and inspected.

Shipping, Delivery & Refused Packages

Order Processing & Handling Time

Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days after payment is confirmed. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will begin processing the next business day. Processing time does not include carrier transit time.

During periods of high order volume, processing times may be extended slightly. Customers will be notified if an order is delayed beyond normal handling time.

Orders requiring manual review may experience a brief delay in processing prior to shipment.

Shipping Carriers & Delivery Method

SmōkHaus ships orders using reputable national carriers, including UPS and FedEx, depending on destination and service availability. All shipments are sent with tracking information, which is provided once the order has shipped.

SmōkHaus ships within the United States only. International shipping is not offered under any circumstances.

Adult Signature Requirement

All tobacco products shipped by SmōkHaus require an Adult Signature (21+) upon delivery, in accordance with federal and state regulations. The recipient must present valid government issued photo identification at the time of delivery.

Packages will not be left unattended and cannot be released without signature confirmation.

Failed Delivery & Refused Shipments

If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful due to any of the following, the package may be returned to SmōkHaus at the carrier’s discretion:

  • No eligible adult available to sign
  • Invalid identification
  • Refusal of delivery
  • Incorrect or incomplete shipping address provided by the customer

In such cases:

  • Original shipping fees are non refundable
  • Return shipping fees may be deducted from any eligible refund
  • Additional fees imposed by the carrier may also be deducted

Customers are responsible for ensuring accurate shipping information and availability to receive adult signature required deliveries.

Returns Related to Delivery Issues

Due to the nature of tobacco products, opened or partially used items cannot be returned.

Refunds related to delivery issues will be evaluated on a case by case basis and may be issued only if:

  • The product is returned unopened
  • The return complies with applicable tobacco regulations
  • The issue was not caused by refusal of delivery or failure to provide a valid adult signature

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days after the returned product is received and inspected.

If a shipment is returned due to failed signature confirmation, failed age verification, or refusal of delivery, SmōkHaus may offer limited exceptions and reship the order at no additional cost.

Repeated delivery issues or habitual failures to accept delivery may result in a partial refund with original shipping costs deducted.

Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Indiana.
